Fairleigh Dickinson University and its School of Public and Global Affairs are providing partial scholarship opportunities to domestic and international students. These scholarships are funded by donors and supporters of FDU.
SPGA Scholarships are available to first-year SPGA graduate students studying at Fairleigh Dickinson University in the USA who have completed no more than 12 credits. SPGA scholarships are applied toward tuition only and not towards fees.
The deadline for the SPGA scholarship application submission for USA Domestic Students is July 1, 2024. For domestic students, the scholarship applications are reviewed annually, applications submitted in advance will be held until the review, and applications to the graduate program must be completed prior to applying for the scholarship.
F1 international students may apply for SPGA scholarships only after they have begun classes. The international students who begin classes in the Fall (August) must apply by October 30 for funding in Spring, Summer, and the following Fall terms.
International students who begin classes in Spring (January) must apply by March 1 for funding in Summer, Fall, and following Spring terms.
Fairleigh Dickinson University: Other scholarships
Other scholarships include Elizabeth and Mark A. Meyer Scholarship and Graduate Assistantships (GA). The graduate students can apply to the Graduate Assistantships (GA). It assist the SPGA department for up to 20 hours per week with marketing and administrative duties. Elizabeth and Mark A. Meyer Scholarship honors FDU alumnus Mark A. Meyer who worked for many years to transform post-communist Romania and Moldova into market economies.
This scholarship supports annually the part-time studies of up to two students for up to two years. As per the official announcement, the university encourages everyone to apply and preference will be given to the Republic of Moldova to the United States, employees of the Embassies of Romania and the Consulate General of Romania in New York, who enrol in FDU’s Master of Arts in Global Affairs. Only a graduate person can apply, who also meets other requirements for admission to the graduate program.
