What is the eligibility required to apply for UP Post Matric Scholarship

The student applying for UP scholarship must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh or must have a residence certificate of Uttar Pradesh. Only citizens of India can apply for this scheme.

Students applying for the scholarship must be studying in class 9 or 10, and class 10+ for post-matric.

The annual income of the family of the student applying should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.

SC, ST, Minority, Disabled and General category students can apply as per their specific scholarship scheme.

Students cannot apply for any Central Government, State Government or other institutions scholarship.

How to apply for UP Post Matric Scholarship

Fresh Registration | UP Post Matric Scholarship 2024 Apply Online

Step 1 – To apply for scholarship, you have to visit the official website of UP Scholarship .

Step 2 – Now the home page will open in front of you, in which you will find the student section on the menu, on which you have to click.

Step 3 – Then a drop down menu will open in front of you, in which you have to click on registration,

Step 4 – After which the Student Registration page will open in front of you in UP Scholarship Registration.

Step 5 – Now you will get the option to choose your caste, after which you can register for the scholarship.

Step 7 – In which you have to enter your District, Institute, Caste, Religion, Your Name, Father and Mother Name, Date of Birth, High School Passing Year, High School Roll Number, Institute Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, after which you will also have to create a strong password.

Step 8 – Now you have to click on the submit button.

Step 9 – Then your scholarship form registration will be completed, after which you will get your registration number.

Step 10 – Now your UP Scholarship Registration Form will be completed,

Step 11 – Now enter your registration number and check the information you have entered, if it is correct then you can submit the final form, after which you can take a printout of the registration form.

Step 2 – On the home page, you will see the option of Student, after clicking on which, you will get the option of Fresh Login and Renewal Login. In which if you want to apply for the second year scholarship, then you can opt for Renewal Login .

Step 3 – Now you have to select your institute and then the login page will open.

Step 4 – You should enter the previous year registration number, date of birth and captcha code.

Step 5 – After this you have to make final submission for scholarship.

Step 6 – After 3 days you will get the final print, which you can submit to your institute.
