How much is the Hope Scholarship in WV?
The scholarship amount for the 2024-25 school year will be $4,921.39. When can I apply for the Hope Scholarship Program for the 2024 – 25 School Year? New applications for the Hope Scholarship Program can be submitted from March 1 to June 15 annually to be eligible for 100% of scholarship funds.
What is the lowest GPA for Hope Scholarship?
A HOPE Scholarship recipient must graduate from high school with a minimum 3.00 grade point average (as calculated by GSFC) and maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative postsecondary grade point average to remain eligible.
Does Western Kentucky accept Hope Scholarship?
Needs to be a resident from the Southcentral Kentucky area. Be registered or have a plan to enroll in WKU or SKYCTC for the next semester. Be of Latin origin. Transfer to or be a student at SKYCTC or Western Kentucky University.
When can I apply?
2024-25 School Year
The application window for renewal applicants for 2024-25 will be open from January 3, 2024 to June 17, 2024. For new applicants, the Hope Scholarship Board will accept applications year-round, but the timing of submission of the original application for the program will determine the amount of the Hope Scholarship received for the student’s initial year of participation in the program. The application windows for 2024-25 and the corresponding funding amounts are outlined in the chart below:
